Lutz Heese
Dipl.-Ing. Architect VfA, Urban Planner
Dipl.-Ing. Lutz Heese is Managing Partner of ABH-Architekturbüro Heese GmbH in Munich as well as AUKETT + HEESE GmbH Berlin and AUKETT + HEESE Frankfurt GmbH. The companies employ a total of nearly 170 people.
After graduating from the Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich, he studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University and at the Technical University of Munich (now TUM).
From 2003 to 2016 he was President of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects. Today he is a member of the Assembly of Representatives and Honorary President of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects.
His entire professional career has been marked by deep commitment to the architecture profession, including his roles as long-standing deputy chairman of the AHO (Committee for the Fee Schedule) and as a member of the presidium of the VfA (Association of Freelance Architects), which appointed him an honorary member in 2022.
In 2014, he received the ‘Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany Ribbon’ for his services to the common good.
