Papierfabrik Louisenthal A5, 2020

The Louisenthal paper mill is located in the Upper Bavarian Gmünd in the Tegernsee Valley. Construction work included the extension of the A4 building to include the new A5 in the southern part of the factory site. Security aspects were important for the project, since the factory also produces, among other items, official documents for the Federal Republic of Germany and other EU states. 

The single-storey extension covers an area of 3,200m² GFA. It is a pure production hall that adjoins the existing building at ground level. A connecting bridge to building B5 was built as a further measure. ABH provided the project planning and general planning.
